The following quote has been attributed to many sources.
“The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.”
This is one of those “easy to say, not so easy to do” kind of things.
I feel that one interpretation could mean that in order to find our bliss, we need to find out what we excel in, work at developing it, then give it away.
The hard part is the self discovery, finding out what that one thing about us as individuals is unique. Whether that is being a teacher, a tradesman, a salesman, or whatever our calling. We each have our own gift, finding it or even just realizing it can be difficult, sadly some it appears, never find it. Never stepping outside of their comfort zone.
Finding our gift is only the first step, perfecting it and giving it away can be difficult as well.
Some people are just not ready to receive our gift, they may have trust issues and will be suspicious and do not understand the concept of giving without expectation of reciprocity. They have not yet learned how to control their emotions.
However, we understand the principle of being of service to others can be our pathway to finding our bliss.
